I met Jackie Kavanagh just by viewing a property online and requesting any agent to get back to me. The first and only agent who replied was Jackie. I told her I was not sure if I wanted to put my house on the market but I would like to look at a couple of houses to see if I could consider somewhere else to live. After discussing what I might like, she showed me a few properties. There were a couple that interested me so I told her I needed some time to consider my options. I told her I would get back to her once I made a decision and she gave me no pressure, just said to take my time and let her know what I decided. After a few weeks I gave her a call and told her I had decided to put my house on the market and wanted her for my real estate agent. Well, I had an expensive house with a large property and very down market. I decided to list anyway as I really needed to downsize. Jackie was a great help in giving advise on helping me decide a listing price and also on staging my house. Occe I listed she did an agent open house providing food and refreshment at her own cost. Then she advised me of the feedback she received and we discuss alisting price. Viewing were slow as expected re slow market and price. Jackie was always there ti answer calls and to do review of recent comparable listings and sales even suggesting I take my house off the market for the winter to give me a break. Then she did another market review and comparison which we discussed in relation to my house and readjusted price. Another year passes, and another price adjustment after another market comparison. Finally got an offer almost two years after listing. Jackie was very knowledgable and professional in helping me arrive at a final deal. Although the selling price was not as high as I would have liked, it was a good price given the current economy and real estate market and I felt Jackie helped me get the best price for the market. If you are looking for an agent I would definitely recommend Jackie Kavanagh for your real estate agent.She knows the real estate market, returns calls promptly, and works hard to not only sell your house, but also the best deal.
